Championship Eligibility

To be eligible for the Club Championship events that are held at the end of the season, swimmers must meet a number of qualification criteria. These criteria are focused on swimmers' regular participation on Club Nights and representing the club at interclub carnivals.


A summary of these criteria are that swimmers must:

  1. Swim on two thirds of club nights from date of joining. 
  2. Compete in a stroke a minimum of four times (two times for medley events) to be eligible to swim that stroke at Championships
  3. Nominate (and participate if selected) in a minimum number carnivals as per rule 29 of the rule book. (3 carnivals if you join at the start of the season).
